City of Leicester Teachers' Association 150th Anniversary

City of Leicester Teachers' Association was formed in 1869 and predates the National Union of Teachers by one year, when a number of teacher associations combined to form the National Union of Elementary Teachers following the 1870 Education Act. The name NUT was adoped in 1889. We are inviting all ex-NUT and all current NEU members to join us and celebrate the 150th Anniversary.
