July Strike Days!
Pay Up! Save Our Schools! July 5th and 7th Strike Days!
Bring your placards, union banners, family and noise!
On 17 June, the executive of the National Education Union (NEU) voted for further strike action in England's schools on 5 and 7 July.
The union has taken this decision reluctantly. We know you'd rather be in the classroom, doing what you do best - teaching and supporting your pupils. The Government's own statistics revealed that the recruitment and retention crisis is getting worse.
The Secretary of State, Gillian Keegan has now had the School Teachers' Review Body (STRB) report and its recommendations for a whole month but continues to keep the profession in the dark about what the response of her Government will be.
What Can You Do Now?
Join our strikes - picket lines will take place in schools up and down the country. Join in any activities that are organized in your local towns and cities.
