Kate needs your help

You may be aware of the situation facing Leicester teacher Kate Geraghty who was diagnosed with terminal cancer shortly after giving birth to her daughter:

Teachers at The Children's Hospital School, where Kate works, and Moat Community College, where her partner works, along with friends and supporters in other schools in the city, have launched a number of fundraising events to try to raise money for immunotherapy treatment that could extend Kate's life to give her more time with her daughter.

April 27th from 10.00 to 12.00 - Coffee morning at Willow Bank School, Simmons Crescent, LE2 9AH with refreshments, tombola, raffle, cake sale and live music.

May 1st - Fundraising Meal at More Restaurant on London Road. Tickets are available from Green and Pleasant on Queens Road or from Moat Community College.
