Pay
Teachers should have received a 1% pay rise in September's pay. This is not performance related, but is simply a 'cost of living' increase. You should have received an NUT salary card in the latest Teacher magazine, so check that you have received the pay rise.
Following your performance management review, you may be eligible for pay progression either up the main scale or up the upper pay range (unless you are on M6 or UPR3). The only time that you need to apply for this is to move from the main pay scale to UPR1. You should be informed whether you have progressed and, if not, advised of your right to appeal. Please speak to your school rep or contact the local office if you need support in appealing.
