The Fight is on to Save Rushey Mead Secondary School

The initial consultation period closed on 4th October. The governing body will meet on 14th October to consider the responses and to decide whether to abandon the proposals. There is a growing opposition from NUT members and other staff at the school, and an indicative ballot of members indicated that a majority wished to be balloted for strike action, should the governors proceed further down the road to conversion. The formal ballot is now underway and will finish on 30th October.
